‘The Tote’ is a banquet hall, restaurant, and bar – designed by Serie Architects – located in Mumbai.

Taking inspiration from the indigenous rain trees, the interior implements intricate “tree branch” wood paneling from the structure, spreading across the ceiling.

More subtle 2-dimensional lines run across the flooring, possibly a play on shadow from the branches.
Absolutely stunning.

Architect Andre Kikoski designed the aptly named “Wright Resauarant” in the Guggenheim, scheduled to open on Friday.
His goal was to great a “modern homage to a legendary architect” by exaggerating and experimenting with perspective, using unique and tactile materials, and commissioning artist Liam Gillick to develop a site-specific art piece.
Well done.
