Xavier Veilhan: Sophie for Le Germain

Xavier Veilhan sculpted this installation entitled ‘Sophie’ for the restaurant Le Germain in Paris.

The super-size sculpture spans both floors of the restaurant.

Glossy, yellow, and faceted? Droool.

My infatuation with anything yellow aside, the interior design, by India Mahdavi, is on point. Something about that ceiling grid against that floor checkerboard, combined with the pops of bright furniture is really working for me.
